If you plan to use insurance for your visit, please submit your insurance information using the form below before your appointment.
If your insurance is not verified before your appointment time, you will be responsible for the full out-of-pocket cost until coverage can be confirmed ($200 for initial and $100 for follow-ups).
Verify Your Insurance
To find out if your insurance covers acupuncture please complete the following verification form and Rhonda, our expert biller will get back to you about your exact coverage. Bess is in network with as many carriers as is possible – generally more than most other acupuncturists in the area – if she does end up being out of network it is not by choice. However if this is the case, you can pay the out of pocket fee and we will provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance and be reimbursed. Sometimes this works. In addition, as mentioned above, you can pay with an HSA card.
Cancellation & No Show Policy
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the practitioners’ day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. People who provide less than 24 hours notice, or no show for their appointment will be charged the full price of their appointment.

We currently accept the following insurance plans:

- UHC – United
- Axis: First Choice & many sub payers
- Trillium
- Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield
- Providence
- Optum
- Pacific Source
- Motor Vehicle Accidents & Worker’s Comp Claims
- We have tried to be in-network with Kaiser & Moda but have not been allowed in.
- Acupuncturists can only bill Medicare if they are working in an office with an MD. The exception to this is Medicare Advantage Plans. Contact our biller to see if you qualify.
- OHP (Open Card only)
If you don’t see your insurance listed, please contact us and we’ll be happy to check on your coverage.
